We have a republic that was intended to provide representative government. Do you feel like you are represented? Do you feel that your voice is heard? Do you feel the money or time you give to a candidate is well spent? Do you think most of the laws being passed represent your best interest? Are you tired of holding your nose when you vote? Are you tired of hearing campaign promises that you know will never be kept? Are you just flat tired of the lies? Are you tired enough to do something about it?
Well the Tennessee Action Council is and would ask you to join us. This is not about party, it is about principle, it is about representation.
Often, we are on the outside looking in with our nose pressed to the glass. Together, we will be as strong as any lobby group in the state, only in this case, we are ordinary Tennessee citizens. Whether it be moms and dads concerned about Nationalizing of our Schools, or those just getting started, trying to start a business or get a job. You may be that business owner, over regulated, over worked and cutting back. From every direction there is a new mandate, cost, rule or property tax. Issues important to you, we want you to know.
WORDS MAKE NOISE - - - ACTION MAKES THINGS HAPPEN!!! The Tennessee Action Council was formed to accomplish just that.
So we ask you to join us, we cannot do this without the help of like minded Tennesseans. Be one who helps us reach this first year goal- 95 counties- 50,000 strong. Be one of the 50,000 WHO WILL MAKE A DIFFERENCE. Inform 5 or 10 of your friends and family, ask them to join us. Action in Tennessee. We are just getting started!!
First show Monday 6-8PM. Guest are David Fowler who will be speaking about Amendment 1 and Dr. Bill Warner who will be speaking about the recent event in Manchester. A Note from Michael DelGiorno: "…We will NOT be the government of, for and by the people that we were intended to be...until we get right with God and get right on with self governance! It has been stated that there is no such thing as darkness, it's simply the absence of light. In that same vein, there is no national government, big government or mere democracy in our Founding Fathers intent...it is simply the absence of self governance. I believe this organization is THE two...in a one-two punch solution for the preservation and restoration of our Republic!" -Michael DelGiorno

University of Tennessee uses Student Fees to pay for Lesbian Bondage Expert By Todd Starnes
A lesbian bondage expert and a campus-wide condom scavenger hunt are among the activities planned for The University of Tennessee’s first-ever “Sex Week” – an event paid for in-part by student fees.
Sex Week is sponsored by the university’s Sexual Empowerment and Awareness at Tennessee club. The six-day event is expected to cost nearly $20,000 – covered in part by university grants, student fees and contributions from academic departments.
University of Tennessee spokeswoman Karen Simpson confirmed to Fox News that the conference is being funded by student fees and university money.
“The university is providing funding for this workshop because it covers a wide range of issues that are beneficial to our students,” Simpson said.

My perception of the Senate's cloture vote for 2nd Amendment "Debate" by C Richard Archie
Simple people, (which I am) deal with life in simple terms.
I was contacted by one of Senator Bob Corker's attorneys to discuss my thoughts on the vote of our Tennessee Senators yesterday with respect to putting the issue on the floor for debate. I told him that my perspective was that the liberal sponsors of the numerous bills related to the ability of free Citizens to keep and bear arms had been adequately discussed between our Founders and the British in the late 1700's, and then again amongst the Citizens of the US during the years it took to ratify our Constitution, which by the way, required the addition of the first 10 Amendments to achieve that goal.
I likened the occurrence of Thursday's vote in the Senate to having a cottonmouth tied up in a tote sack, with a stout cord cinched around the twisted neck of said sack firmly holding in check that dangerous viper, having been taken into my grand children's Sunday School classroom, cutting the tie that bound it safely and pouring that snake out on the floor.
The kids and the Teacher can now debate what to do, but I am sure that we would all have been better off had the serpent been left tied up!
I was probably more vociferous with the good attorney than he expected, and had I had full command of my voice (actually I was home ill, with a bad case of laryngitis. I suspect I could have made a better accounting in the time allotted were it not for that fact!), but I think I was able to get my message across.
